CleanseHerb is a blend of six cleansing herbs:
Milk thistle is a flowering plant that comes from the
same family of plants as the daisy. Different parts of the milk thistle plant may be used to treat various health conditions. The
most common use of milk thistle is for liver problems. It has traditionally been used to help treat: cirrhosis, jaundice, hepatitis,
gallbladder disorders and inflammatory skin conditions such as acne.Other potential health benefits include protecting heart health
by lowering cholesterol levels and helping people manage type 2 diabetes
The dandelion herb is commonly used for
detoxification of the liver, restoring hydration and electrolyte balance. Dandelion root contains "taraxacerin" which increases the
level of bile secreted by the gallbladder, helping the liver to detoxify more efficiently. It is also diuretic, aiding the liver and
kidneys to flush away excess water and waste, supporting the body as it eliminates harmful toxins.
Dandelion also supports the detoxification
and cleansing of the digestive tract, especially from the effects of overconsumption of fatty foods, coffee and prescription medicines
An adaptogenic herb, liquorice root has been used for
thousands of years for dozens of purposes, including as a leaky gut remedy, for heartburn acid reflux, for kidney issues, as
a mild laxative and to boost fatigued adrenal glands. It can also help with coughs and sore throats.
Liquorice does have
side effects if overused and should be avoided by those with cardiac, renal or hepatic disease or high blood pressure.
Red Clover has traditionally been used as a blood purifier, helping to eliminate
toxins from the bloodstream. Whilst originally native to Europe it is now widely cultivated all over the world as an important herb
for women’s health, used to assist with menstrual and menopausal symptoms.
